The first ZC Live was a one day social media and digital event which took place in Kent on Friday 9 June 2017 at Ashford International Hotel.
During the day, delegates were taken on a journey through different social media platforms and was shown how they can maximise the use of social media in order to improve business prospects. They learnt how to accelerate their use of digital and social media marketing in their businesses, which will help them create more leads by mastering key strategies.
During the morning, we listened to presentations from Greg Russell and Tamsyn O’Connell from Facebook who explained how we should be using social media for business.
Sue Nelson and Steve Griffiths of the TechTalk show, showed us some new technology and demonstrated their expert knowledge when it comes to digital.
The panel session was facilitated by Sian Murphy from the Women in Business Radio show with guests from Emma Liddiard, Global Radio; Gareth Cairns, ZC Social Media and Daniel Knowlton, KPS Digital Marketing where they discussed thought leaders using digital.
In the afternoon, we had a chance to get some further information on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and LinkedIn during the workshop sessions.
ZC Live Activities
Throughout the day, we were introduced to the Snapchat room which gave us all a better understanding on “how to effectively tell your story on Snapchat and other storytelling platforms and get actionable Snapchat & storytelling tactics”. This was presented in a fun way with a golf putting competition!
The Global Radio room gave us an insight into the “Audio Pod” which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the world of 3D audio.
We also had the chance to visit a number of exhibitor stands with companies that were either involved with the event or wanted to showcase their company products and services.
ZC Live will be back next year and we are already on the look-out for companies who would like to get involved.
